haha. I, personally, have started about 4 Kevin Smith topics, with no response at all...

I really Like Dogma, but Mallrats is number 2. I have the buddy christ watching me right now.

As for favorite characters, either Silent Bob, Brodie, Willem (goddam Sailboat!), or Jay (Snoogans)

Clerks is my close third favorite.

3-Clerks
4-Mall Rats
5-Silent Bob (I really REALLY didn't like it much though)

Mallrats #1
Clerks #2

I think the animated clerks could have been much better.

Jason Lee is my fave actor/character from his flicks. Then Jason Mewes

He sucked when I saw him on the Jay Leno show once but I love his movies.

I would have to say Clerks is my favourite. They only used 27,000 on the movie and it's better than nearly all that cost 1000 times as much. My favourite character would probably be Jay as well.

#1Mallrats #2 Clerks and Jay And Silent Bob (tie). Hands down. I liked Dogma, but I don't think it's his best.

I don't know why people don't like Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, I fucking love that movie.

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back is fucking hysterical!!! How can you not like it???

Want to hear something crazy? Two or three years into our relationship my boyfriend told me he had never seen a fucking kevin smith movie until Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back!!! I was amazed, for some reason i thought everyone had seen the movies, but i guess not. So, as a result he went out and rented all of em and spent the next day or two checking em out.

Sounds like this hard on who once tried to tell me that Evil Empire was Rage's first album. No offence.

Clerks is my fav, but with Dogma coming in at a close second. Am I the only one here who's seen An Evening with Keving Smith?

I would have to say dogma in one of the fist scenes Loki was analysing a poem out of through the looking glass (I think it’s the follow on for Alice in wonderland), when I saw that I feel in love with it. It’s a really big attack on organized religion.

Kevin is religious but feels the church drains people’s faith.

I dunno, it was strange because I saw it at the movies and thought it was HYSTERICAL. Then I rented it and saw it....and their were a few funny moments but over all I couldn't see what was so funny. I thought the plot was pretty stupid and Jay really annoys me after awhile...a whole movie devoted to him is too much Jay for me...

Hopefully we won't have to sit through another Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back or Mall Rats. Those were both absolutely horrid.

"would you like a chocolate covered pretzel?"

i only really liked Clerks Mallrats and the cartoon ( i was on of the 10 people in the country that watched both episodes when they first aired) lol

Dante ,Randal and Brodie were the best in the series.

I just bought a autographed copy of Clerks for my friend from viewaskew

I saw one of the Cartoons. It was the one where they all get trapped in the freezer. I had no idea what was going on, because I saw it before I knew who Kevin Smith was. It still was funny, especially with the bit where English people run convenience stores in India...at least that where I hope that was from:S

yes that was Clerks the flashbacks in that episode refered to an episode that never aired. it was going to be a running gag in the show. "why are we walking like this?" the other episode was Dante was being sued by Jay for a fall in QuickStop (Randal urged Jay on) and Dante had an all black jury and the judge was Judge Rienhold. the jury was made up of NBA stars like Charles Barkley and Patrick Ewing the ending was very especially this line "who's driving? oh no bear is driving!"

Anyone who didn't like Mallrats doesn't get that sort of humor. That is one of my favorite movies of all time.
