God damn. I used to work in TV and film and as such, I still do the odd job now and again. Right now, I have to edit footage, which contains 80 shots and 128 mins in total. And I have to cut that down to 30 seconds. I can't even get hold of the director because they're away on holiday. So, what should I do? Should I just cut it down at random to 30 seconds like I planned or just leave it till the boss gets back? It's supposed to be in for tomorrow afternoon. I've already thrown out 30-40 takes just because I thought they looked like shit.
