Obama approves military action against Iran

In an emergency speech saturday evening, President Obama has said that he has approved military action against Iran "For the safety of the Israeli people, for the safety of the American people, and for the safety of the people of the middle east." The plan calls for American to provide air and navel support while Israel handles the ground invasion. When questioned about the effects such a massive military action will have on the economy, Obama responded "Did George Washington question the economic effects when he yelled 'give me liberty or give me death'? Did Abraham Lincoln question the economic effects when he sent troops to preserve the union? Did Truman question the economic effects, when he said 'we will not stand by and let communism extinguish the flame of liberty'? They did not put a price on human freedom then and we cannot do so now." China has responded that they plan to massivly cut exports to the US should it continue it's present course and Russia has threatened to supply military aid to the Iranians
