Hi all. I'm a young guy from Finland. I'm here to find people who share same thought as me, to find socialist friends. :)

From the others view I have been different almost my entire life. I feel like i just can't live like they do - ignorate everything what the capitalism does to for example people in the third world countries or how the state abuses us. I have felt a lot of discrimination especially when i was younger but during a year i have realized that i need socialism. My older relatives are mostly conservatives or nationalists although not really racists. For example my father hates socialism because his parents felt the war against Soviet Union in 1939-1945. My mother is a pretty fundamental christian. Being like this is not very easy to me.

I hate how the things are in western countries. I see fascism everyday - e.g. people discriminate the ones who are weaker. I just want peace all over the world.

p.s. english is not my mother tongue.

I appreciate such people very much who discover socialism/communism themselves despite having a religious/conservative/nationalist family.

Welcome.

Its always inspiring to see a socialist arise out of a nationalist upbringing!

Welcome, SDAN! English is my first (and only) language, and you communicate just fine.

I toured Finland with my Air Force bowling team--European champions--in 1966. First we lost the drinking bouts, then we lost the bowling matches. You Finns are awesome (and devious)!

So I gave up bowling for revolution. You and I come from similar family backgrounds, and you and I are definitely on the right track.

Welcome! My red-green best.
