I hate 'Bro slang mostly.

"Hella" is linked to regional pride in the Bay Area - especially a sort of cultural working class pride, like we know most of the country views "hella" in the same light they see "Jersey Shore" or trailer parks and that just makes us love it more.

I hate the kind of weird valley-girl dialect of a lot of white people in the bay area though - people always raise the ends of their sentences and I don't know why or how this started. I think I associate it with bay area yuppies and that's why I find it irritating.

People used to say "hecka" which is even stupider. Also, I'm not sure if I picked this up somewhere or made it up, but for extra emphasis on something I'll say, "helza". That's hellllzah annoying.
