I don't understand French hate... I find the language fairly easy (although it helps that my mother is a French professor and I have been hearing it my entire life :)), and when I went to France, most of the French people liked me a lot. Most likely because I spoke French instead of expecting them to know English like other Americans would, I was willing to try any food I was served and invariably loved it, and I was quiet and considerate instead of loud and obnoxious.

French people in the U.S., on the other hand... I've had some exchange students, and we had problems with them, unlike the other families at my school. Probably because my mother understoothe horrible things she overheard them saying when they called home (like calling the food infect. If they have a problem with my mother's cooking, I'd hate to see what it would be like for them at an average American's home.)

Toss up some garlic powder

Maybe a little oregano

Maybe a little "oregano"

Mix some mozzarella + parmesan + romano crumbled and put a layer on (preferably fresh but the bagged/canister stuff works too)

Throw it in the oven on 325 until the cheese melts and the bread gets brown-ish

MEANWHILE, get some seasoned spaghetti marinara sauce and throw it in a sauce pan. Add rosemary, thyme, and oregano. Like a big-ass handful (of the three together, not each). Add a little garlic powder to the marinara. Fresh cracked black pepper. A bit of red pepper flakes if you like a little spice. Put it in a bowl when it gets hot.

Now you have bad-ass garlic-cheese bread with a dipping sauce. It's like you're at some bougie-ass restaurant but this all probably cost like $6 to make

My boyfriend asked me to prom my senior year a bit before we started dating, but I broke up with him before that. I wish I was born different. I just found out, my baby brother, the one whom used to be closest to me, was diagnosed yesterday that he has terminal cancer. It's not the shock that gets me, I expected this given that he has EB or epidermolysis bullosa, it's more so the fact that, I have been threatened that if he does die and I try to pay my last respects and just see him, I will be physically assaulted in whatever degree. I can't get over seeing him in pain all these fucking years, wanting to trade him spots, telling myself I deserved this not him, he was the best out of all of us, wanting him to be ok. The fact that, someone told him I was homosexual, and he said, that was the worst thing that's ever happened to him because it meant his idol was dead, kills me and I don't think I'll ever be able to forgive that bastard that outed me.

I'm beside myself. My brother is going to die and he doesn't even want me there. He asked all the others to say a few words. After I found out, I immediately called him, trying to be there as much as I could but he won't have any of it, "you disgraced the family but you won't disgrace my death and that's it, I'm not going to say anything else, I hate you, to me you died 3 years ago, stay as far away from me as possible and don't ever call again, good day," and I'm left wondering, does he mean this? I mean does he truly mean this? I was the one who helped him out the most when were young. I kicked anyones ass that dared to even breathe wrong on him. I did everything I possibly could do. Is this really going to be the last thing he is going to say to me?

I love brother, you had it opposite, it was you who I looked up too, not the other way round and I love you beyond words could possibly convey and I'm sorry for hurting you inadvertently. You are my other half, we were and will always be thick as thieves in my heart. I remember when mum and dad didn't have money for food and I picked pockets and was able to get enough money to pay for two meals and a pastry and I let you eat all of it. I don't want to lose you, I can't bare to think of it. I know it's what you want and I'm being selfish but I just can't take losing you.

I've been drunk basically ever since I found out. I don't know how to deal with this, I just don't. I have a good support system around me, my partner, my friends and so on but nothing can take the sting out of this. All I've wanted for the past 19 years or more is to be able to take his pain away but not like this. He never deserved this, he deserves a normal life, with women, friends, a job, a life, children. I don't care if it's unhealthy to think about but he's done everything by the book whereas I've done absolutely everything wrong, he's the purest, nicest, most caring person I've ever known; I deserve this not him. As horrid as it may seem, whenever I was down or depressed or anything I would just think of him. He's been my rock and inspiration.

I don't know what to say or do. Everything is just all hollow and ash right now. Not to mention my boyfriend went to the doctor today and I guess his heart murmur is getting louder and it's very concerning and I can't seem to find out more about it and I'm worried and crushed and this is just to much at once. Things are kind of picking up, went to an art show and my boyfriend sold himself and looked real nice, so he should be getting a lot of work and shows again. I have a small movie shoot tomorrow, where all I have to do is just do some black eyes, small blood and laceration work and I get free exposure, paid expenses and the best part of it, is they're giving me and my roommate two genuine coffins, not caskets, coffins. The roomy is turning his into a bookcase, I'm thinking coffin bed. We also got a boa today and my mates gf's roommate is getting be a decent paying job, going door to door, selling green electric, so I get paid by the kilowatt, going around, lowering people's electric bills.

I'll have to check it out. The rye whiskey I had last night was Bulleit brand, which is apparently different from other's because it's 95% rye, rather than other's which have a lower rye content. It's pretty smooth stuff going down, with no bad aftertaste at all, and their bourbon is one of my favorites already.

They're relatively cheap for how good they are to. $23 ($21 on sale), for a 25oz bottle that you could stretch out for a good while.
