Seems I might be getting a early birthday present:

And then things will magically change because the government will be led by centrists or social-democrats or whatever.

While this is certainly a valid point, it must also be stated that elections now would certainly weaken the unquestioned rule of the ruling class. And while nothing serious poses an alternative at present time, it does prepare the ground for such developments to bare more fruit than has been happening so far (for example the Dutch Occupy movement never really got off the ground, the union movement is in a perpetual crisis over its class collaborationist position).

Nope, but ill take reforms over austerity anyday, the only reforms this government was willing to talk about was union busting, slashing social welfare and unemployment benefits, selling all social housing, closing all borders and shooting illegal immigrants, minimum prison sentences etc etc, at least the social-dems, "socialists" and greens are willing to do away with the tax deductibillity of mortgages on second and third homes, tobin tax and raising the tax for top incomes.
There are lesser evils, bite me.

Wouldn't an election now mean that the SP will likely be the biggest party in parliament?

Probably the second, the conservative-libertarians will maybe remain just ahead, the socialdems with their new more popular leader is stealing some votes back. also at this moment lots of white working class votes where fleeing from wilders to the sp because they felt that wilders was selling out their interests. whether more will make that move or that some will return to wilders if he breaks the coalition over the austerity remains to be seen.

Of course! Only glorious Comrade Stalin, The Gardener of Human Happiness(actual title bestowed upon Stalin by Stalinist propaganda) can magically change things with his own hands! And then he will kill 9 million Nazis!

Hopefully this would make austerity measures far more difficult.

Disunity among rightists is always to be welcomed, especially if it means it will be far harder for them to ram their punishing 'reforms' through, otherwise known as cuts and brutality :)

Nah, even if the SP gets in power austerity will continue, I'm not that naive, I just think the pain will be more like 20-80% rich vs workers instead of the 0,001-99,999% they tried now.
In the end the social-dems (be it PvdA or SP) will sell us out to capital like they always did, I just hope they will bargain a better price than the tacherites meets fash meets christian bastards that are in power now.

Yeah but it would be a hard sell on cutting in the social workplaces after the SP made it the face of Rutte's austerity measures hitting the weakest members of society.
Social democrats are not worth a damn but because of the demographic that votes for them they are forced to be less anti worker then the liberalen or christian democrats can be.
