I really do love looking at pictures of Europeans standing up against fascism or creating some of the most inspiring graffiti the mainland has seen, but I recently ran into a problem.
ANTIFA are rightly against anti-Semitism as we all are. However, some even go as far to defend Zionism. In fact, at some rallies, they often sport Israeli flags. I understand the Israeli flag represents Jews - as least those Jews who recognise Israel - but is supporting the ideology of Zionism really supported by ANTIFA?
The Zionist ideology is not just repressive: it is deadly. Thousands have died trying to combat it. It is a system of narrow-minded nationalism which manipulates an innocent religion in order to cleanse a land of its people - regardless of whether you consider Palestinians as a created or indigenous people. It was founded with the assistance of British imperialism and is most certainly a very authoritative system - one which I'm surprised ANTIFA would be willing to defend.
So this is the question: where does ANTIFA stand on Zionism: for or against?
