(Dunno if this belongs here.)

My dad works for a company called API Foils. Recently, the workers tried to negotiate a pay rise. But apparently, the bosses failed to do the "negotiate" part in "negotiation". It only went up by 2%. So what does my dad and the other workers do? Go on strike and protest!

I'd be worried, but it's not like we're losing much. My parents have their own little buisness they do at home, so we're okay for money. I'm totally supporting my dad during his strike. If the bosses are not willing to comunicate with their staff, then fuck them and hit them where it hurts!

This might belong in Worker Struggles.

If your family is doing fairly well then use that as an opportunity to make bag lunches and treats for the strikers. Offer to drive a carpool so that others do not have spend cash on gas. Shit like that.

Oh and ask to use the company restroom but make sure you miss, OK?:thumbup1:

Most important though, don't give your Da any more stress than he needs right now.

When the bosses take the piss out of the workers (as they do), then it's time to down tools. Good luck to your dad, your family and you, and your dad's co-workers :)
