Hello again, comrades. I have a noob question: How long until I am able to post directly without it being filtered through a moderator first? Is there a certain post count, or a period of time when I'm on "probation" here? I looked around for answers but I couldn't find any. Sorry if this is a dumb question but I'm a noob and I couldn't find this info on the site FAQ. Thank you in advance for your answer, anyone!

You need to have 25 posts in order to post freely on this forum. Being a newcomer myself, I also suffer the same handicap. Although I understand the need to prevent trolls from posting freely on this place, I think this tactic has more drawbacks than advantages. Quite a few people are going to give up posting if they have to wait so long for someone to approve what they wrote. I'm already bored as hell by this practice. So are probably many others. Has any of moderators thought about quitting this practice? Also, why is my postcount showing 4, when I have wrote 17 posts?

And, of course; welcome Stadtsmasher. :)
