What's you're favourite of the last 12 decades?

All pretty shit, but I don't mind the '70s and the 1910's. Even though those decades saw the Vietnam war and WW1 respectively. :p

Hence my point about them all being shit.

Edit: should be the last 112 years... :glare:

Not bad, but too much hippie-esque folk music.

All I have to say is gimme the 20's all day, any day. The world was trying to deal with the war and it's aftermath but the Bolsheviks yell a collective, fuck you! Sends chills up the back of every bloodsucking capitalist and hope to every worker. Those days are gone and may not be seen again for quite some time. Pour one out for our dead homie, the 20's.

I learned everything I needed to know in the 2000s. Finishing secondary school, university, first job experience, serious love affairs.

So all of this makes the 2010s my least favorite decade, probably.

Whats the quickest way to piss on a thread? Read above. It's not everyday that you can leave chit-chat more depressed than when you came in. Thanks.:(

If it doesn't make me depressed, how could it depress you?

Cheer up, comrade.

Anytime that I read how someone has already learned all that they need to learn, I get depressed.

Well, I didn't say I learned all there is to learn, only that I learned all there is to know... to lead the rest of my life. I was referring to a whole lot of embarrasing events & disappoints that make me "up to" life.

I sincerely hope everyone in their mid-twenties feels this way. Life's gonna be a disappointment otherwise, I guess?

You must have been deprived of any exposure to the Glorious Rocko, Ren, and Stimpy as a child

Although I never watched the reboot of Ren & Stimpy as an adult cartoon

60's - early 70's , the time of far left militants across the globe. They got style. But for a revolutionary period, the 1910-20ish period.

What's not to like...

But I suppose some of it was good. Good for the space exploration and a lot of the rebellion was good I 'spose.

Show me a decade, within the last hundred years, in which we weren't slaughtering each other ;)

You win. 'specially with the Doors.

I have been "converted", as it were. I now like the 60s again... just like I did 2 months ago. I'm fickle because I'm a hormonal teenager. :D

The 70s was my favourite decade anyway.

1970s.The years of Marxist Revolution in the Third World, resistance in the form of the RAF, Red Brigades and also the cumulation of the radical thought from the 1960s.Organised labour was still strongish and the East block was still economically growing.
