I searched a lot to find out why did the Polish Labour Party lost so many vote in the previous election, but i didnt find much.

As someone who live in Central-Europe I am very frustrated about this, because I expected a lot from this party:finally a non-nostalgic farleft organistion which seem to get stronger (before the elections resarch indicated more than 2% whcich is quite great in CEU avarage),but they got less then 0,5?

Is there any information what happened?

I would also welcome opinions about classstrugle strategy in Central-Europe.

For those too lazy to use Google Translate:

We the undersigned, members of Socialist Alternative, resign from membership in the Polish Labour Party-August 80th For several reasons we believe that we can no longer remain in the party.

First The party is headed in an undemocratic way, and implicit. Since our accession to the PPP, there was no serious attempt to create a fully democratic structures. The Congress party in 2010, chose a new body, the National Coordination Commission, which last year proved to be completely powerless. Key decisions are taken in a small group somewhere on the sidelines and only communicated to the members of the party. Party members, including members of the KKK, they learn about specific moves have ex post facto from the website, the election campaign or in casual conversations with other activists. It follows that the party leadership is not interested in the creation of party, taking an active part in policy-making party and marking out its course of action.

Second There is no internal culture of debate and discussion. Management does not tolerate any public questioning the direction that had chosen. Such a situation arose a few years ago, when the PPP Youth Organization was bureaucratically appropriated, after it became clear that much of the OM PPP is more radical than the party leadership. The situation has further degeneration to such an extent that is no longer possible to keep the discussion within the party about strategy and tactics, you should use the batch.

Third situation is the more worrying because of the opportunist and reformist direction in which the party going. The shocking fact for us is that the PPP started to work with nationalists and anti-Semitic elements. The list included, inter alia PPP John Strzeżek, the candidate "Warsaw nationalists" fascist sympathizer Sovereignty Defense League, and Tadeusz Clement-Bartold board member publishers THINK POLAND. Such people are now placed on the electoral lists, while the Socialists are removed (Krakow). Promoting chauvinists, even if this time they have no chance of winning seats, is a very serious mistake, which should be immediately repaired. Unfortunately there is no indication that party leaders intend to do anything in that direction. In addition, there is no way that we can influence this situation. Disturbing is the fact that almost nobody in the party besides us has not officially opposed to the situation. We do not want to be in any way associated with a chauvinistic candidates, or do not want them in any way promote. Therefore, we believe that in these circumstances we can not call to vote for PPP in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

Our resignations from the Polish Labour Party-September 80 are immediate. We demand that the authorities in the lot immediately has removed our names from all registers of the PPP.

The Polish Spartacists have written a fine expose of this dubious reactionary so-called "labor party," as well as the alleged leftists who have played footsie with it. Translated in a recent Workers Vanguard.

If it goes away, good riddance!
