As per the latest CAG (Comptroller And Auditor General, the highest audit organization of India), due to non-auctioning of coal blocks and handling them over mostly to private enterprises, Govt. of India has lost Rs. 10.67 trillion or more than 0.2 Trillion US$ as revenue. While at the same time, the subsidy on daily essential items like food, oil are decreased on regular basis in the name of "reducing fiscal deficit".
Just to show that what kind of scums a multi-party bourgeoisie democracy can produce. This is nothing new. The Govt. has deliberately lost US$ 135 billion is distribution of 2G spectrum license distribution. There are numerous others, but don't want to mention to avoid tiring repeatation.
