Makes it a little bit worse in my opinion. Since when have we become so irrelevant?

Our spectre isn't haunting European colonies anymore?

People like this preacher sicken me. I do not think that people like this should even be allowed to speak their propaganda in a socialist society.

I'll kill their argument on their own terms.

They never seem to recall that the relationship with God is supposed to be (within a Protestant theological context anyways) solely an individual relationship.

Ergo, the fact that people in proximity to you may be sinning does not mean that you're responsible or held accountable. Just because a "nation" may be sinning does not mean you're going to get punished individually if you aren't participating in it. I'll cite pretty much every case of divine punishment in the Torah (Old Testament) where God did not punish those who had not sinned (Noah, Lot's family save his wife, etc) because of someone else.

In a near-perfect world Christians would have a live-and-let-live attitude to politics and focus on the very thing that they so casually seem to forget: that Jesus stressed love as a means of overcoming differences even when you disagreed with them. The fact that homosexuals may be, theologically speaking, committing a sin does not mean that you have free reign to oppress them civilly, emotionally, and politically.

To paraphrase Gandhi: I love their Christ but I despise most Christians.

What is this shit? Everyone knows the USA was founded by secular Freemasons ;) ... I'll tell you, these fundies sure have historical revisionism down to a science, unfortunately that's it though.

Fundies of this severity are the enemy. They need to be removed, and their congregations led back to the being productive by those comrades of the same faith.

Can you imagine what Christianity would be like without all the crazy fundies?

Be quite a pleasure to be rid of the mainstream ones here. In Philippines.
Divorce is considered a pretty basic right---here denied.

People in America trying to play the oppressed christian card might be the worst thing ever.

Cult shit.

Maaaaaaaaaan I get pumped up when a bunch of white conservative Christians are in the same room ranting about their ultra-conservative beliefs.

Didn't the Treaty of Tripoli state that "The US was in no sense founded on the Christian religion?"

Religion really is the opiate of the masses and always will be..thank you Karl Marx.

Wait, wait, wait...

Forward it to 2:48 for this little gem:

"...I believe that christians in America is the key to the economy turning around..."

Is capitalism really this bankrupt that its only answer is to pray?!
