Apparently my dog (miniature dachshund) got into a fight with a cat last night. There is blood all over my backyard and he has some small scratches on his head and ears. My dog is fine, but I'm not so sure about the cat.

I was out last night when it happened and my mother just told me about it a few minutes ago. She cleaned his wounds with rubbing alcohol, however nobody has seen the cat.

I feel bad for the cat, but at the same time I'm happy that my dog didn't get his eye scratched out.

This isn't the first time he has gotten in a fight with a neighborhood cat as he's very territorial.

However this is the first time there has been so much blood.
Just sharing.

You're telling me...you should hear his "final solution" to the neighborhood cat problem.

I was thinking this was about how your dog humped a cat.

That doggie wouldn't last long if he ever got into a fight with some of the cat wars champs from my 'hood. Especially those that are anyway bigger than him (we feed our cats with butter).

Thankfully my dog is fine with cats/kids/rabbits/etc, its only other male dogs he wants to kill

My parents had a pit bull that decided to start some shit with their cat.

The cat ripped her whiskers out.

The pit bull never fucked with the cat again.

My dog would be too scared to even go near a cat, and if he did and the cat attacked him he would literally piss himself.

Was the dog's name Karl Barx, and the cat's name Adolf Whiskers?

Well if there was a lot of blood and your dog only had scratches on it's head I'd have to say the blood is probably from the cat which crawled off to die somewhere alone.

Well hopefully it doesn't happen too often, might get put down. My rabbit beat up a cat :)
