I look at the IMT and Alan Woods and he always says "the smart strategists of capital come to the same conclusion as the marxists"
but i think he just says this so he can quote the financial times and he wont have to do any serious thinking himself.
the wsws is just a news aggregate, like a left-wing huffington post.
Big things are happing in the world, and i cant find good analysis anywhere.

for world economy. Woods is right but that doesnt mean a Marxist would agree with everything in the FT, they promote the capitalist agenda. The point is, when the FT agree with what Marxists are saying, then there is a good chance they are both right. The best Marxist economists are Lynn Walsh, and previously Andrew Glyn, but there are plenty of others at that website. Glyn actually taught economics to Ed Miliband, leader of the Opposition in Britain, not that Miliband is a Marxist of course. Glyn wrote a book called Capitalism Unleashed, reviewed here:

To add to what I've already posted and if the OP is looking for something that is non-sectarian and completly un-dogmatic then have a look at Marxmail (http://www.marxmail.org/).

As far as I knew, the wsws wrote its own stuff? What sources is it aggregating news from?

Well obviously he had to teach different strands of economics, all the orthodox stuff and so on. Miliband became a speechwriter and researcher for Shadow (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadow_Cabinet_%28UK%29) Chief Secretary to the Treasury (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chief_Secretary_to_the_Treasury) Harriet Harman (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harriet_Harman), not bad going for the 24 year old son of two refugees.

the primrose hill born son of a published author who went to oxford and lse, whatever hardships his parents faced it's pretty obvious that they didn't apply to ed.
in any case I still fail to see why some guy having taught the leader of a capitalist party is anything to brag about.
