Well I couldent find another topic about this so
What have conditions in Vietnam been like since the imperialist "police action" failed miserably? What are your opinions on the modern government of Vietnam and do you believe it was ever a sucessful implementation of Marxist, leninist or dare I say "Stalinist" values? Why or why not?

It doesn't say much but I hope it helps a little bit on the Current state of Vietnam.
P.S.
Be careful with that Stalinist word some Trots and Ultra Lefts might start complaining

They've implemented many market reforms in recent years. It's pretty much just your average 3rd world capitalist shithole.

Well it is definitely not anywhere near communist theory, but the revolution did at least pave the way for a more social state, medical care, education and basic survival needs are still upkept. I do not think that it is as bad as China, although it never seems to have reached a state-monopolist capitalism.
