I accidentally stumbled on this page just now while on Facebook.
Figured I'd post it here in the non-political section.
I thought it was interesting to see how they view themselves, and how quickly they disowned the Marine that was injured in Oakland.
Here is how they describe themselves.

The name "Veterans Against Occupy Wall Street" (VAOWS) time and time again, has been questioned due to many topics being posted/discussed that doesn't appear to have anything to do with Occupy Wall Street (OWS). Before you question: 1) This is our page and we can talk about anything we want; 2) This page was originally created because of OWS, but is no longer just about OWS. As one of our members put it, "We have a lot more to worry about than those fools. OWS is simply a symptom of the disease that ails our country;" and 3) We have no plans of changing the name.
THIS PAGE HAS SEVERAL ADMINS. (DUE TO THE NUMBER, NOT ALL ADMINS ARE VETS.) WE ARE MONITORING 24/7.
We will remove posts that are designed to generate reaction or divert from the subject matter at hand and also those that don't warrant our energy or attention. Basically, the more asinine the posts, the more likely they will be taken down. The admins of this page, respectively, make the call on what is deemed worthy or appropriate for the page. From time-to-time, certain posts will be kept up for our members's amusement. However, if said posts generate adverse reaction that may attract Facebook monitoring, we will immediately take them down. Please note: Facebook has strict rules and regulations on hate speech, other violations and abuse. Refer to Facebook Safety Center for more information. We strive to abide by these rules and we expect our members to do the same.

This is a page dedicated to veterans, their family members, and veteran supporters who are against the "Occupy Wall Street" protest. This page is also a rebuke of the many Facebook pages created in an attempt to capitalize and exploit the recent incident in Oakland with disgraced Marine Scott Olsen. As a Veteran myself, with over 36 months of combat duty in and around Iraq, this behavior disgusts me.
The majority of Veterans do not fall in line with the ideals and behavior of the Occupy Wall Street movement.
THEY DO NOT SPEAK FOR US!!!

This page is also against anyone who endorses OWS or supports them. Since OWS is a left-wing movement, most people on this page are conservatives (some may even be referred to as far-right). If that offends you, this may not be the page for you.
Liberals use the race card to further their agenda. There are also a lot of Neo-Nazis in OWS. Let's not forget their agenda. Our country is riddled with lots of hate. ON THAT NOTE: We can bash liberals all we want, call them out on the "race card" and speak out against Global Islamization, but that doesn't mean we will tolerate racism.
Recently, FactCheck was shown to publish a false birth certificate for Obama which is currently being challenged. As far as we are concerned, this site have no credibility. If anyone should know of any other sites that are being used for checking "facts" or debunking urban legends that are suspect, please do not hesitate to let us know. Change.org is supported by OWS. No postings by them will be allowed on our page.
Political news from any mainstream media outlets are also suspect. Jeffrey Immelt, CEO of General Electric (GE), who also happens to be Obama's job czar, owns many of the networks. Google and follow the trail from GE to the networks to the White House.
OWS started in Canada. Recruiting was done by Adbusters funded by the Tides Foundation owned by George Soros. OWS trolls come in all shapes, sizes, forms and nationalities. SPREAD THE WORD: Block Canada (and possibly other countries such as Australia and Ireland) from Anti-OWS pages. It could cut down on trolls. We have made sure to not block countries where there are American soldiers.
From time-to-time, we will lock down wall for only VAOWS posts. Usually, when there is high traffic volume of trolls and spamming activity. If no one will be able to monitor this page for any substantial amount of time, we will temporarily "unpublish" until we return.
Expect a lot of humor and sarcasm on this page. We make fun of OWS. We figure if they didn't want to be made fun of, they wouldn't have broadcasted their idiocy for the world to see on National TV.
Any trolls asking the question, 'Why are you against Occupy?' (or any variations thereof) will be banned immediately. ALSO, SPAMMING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
