Although I am not enamored of the politics of the DSA I was appalled at the simplistic rhetoric of the "Socialist Organizer" cadre. Worst was his falling into the endorsing the use of crude sexist language to describe social democracy. Jon Stewart and his people set up the "SO hipster guy" to look foolish and he took the bait hook, line, and sinker. Hope he learned a serious lesson from this fiasco.

How damn hard would it have been to say, "they want to modify the current system we want a different system". Christ, if it was just the hipster thing then despite the jokes I think he would have come across fine.
