This topic has been covered multiple times on this forum, but it can never be covered enough IMHO. It needs to be pounded into people's head, just as you need to fully utilize your "right to remain silent". This guy says some minor things I disagree with (i.e. cops are here to supposedly help us, etc) but the main points are solid, especially point number 2.

I got this off stopthedrugwar.org, which is a constantly updated wealth of info if you're interested in issues related to police conduct.

videos like this are definitely good, but this sort of stuff can easily just not work. for one, if you're some young person living in a shithole ghetto then they're probably just going to open your door and take you out if they want to search that badly. and two, basically anywhere you are (you could be the richest white kid in the nicest town), if they suspect marijuana usage then they can easily say that they smell marijuana regardless of whether or not it is true.

still a worthwhile video though.

There is things that I agree with in the video and there some things I don't. The whole "constitutional right," thing has never worked for me and has always backfired considering to most police officers the definition of "probable cause," is extremely flexible. With this being said, it's just best to keep everything pork free, deny, refuse, resist, flee.

if theres witnesses of you refusing a search you have a much better chance of having it get thrown out in court tho.
