Senator McCain has suggested that the United States lead an international effort (with NATO and the Arab League imperialists) to protect key population centers in Syria through air strikes on the Syrian Army.
"The ultimate goal of air strikes should be to establish and defend safe havens in Syria, especially in the north, in which opposition forces can organize and plan their political and military activities against Assad."
This simple quote shows that, like all other American politicians involved in this issue, he does not really care about the people of Syria, but rather about installing a new, more American-friendly regime through the Free Syrian Army and the opposition. This is a bald call to imperialism and it seems that only us revoltuionary leftists are calling it out. At least he has only been the first Senator to suggest such stupidity. Hopefully there will not be any more.
