The comment section disappoints me the most. These people are blindly defending the mega rich, bourgeoisie. Most often with the "Hard-work" line.
I can see why third-worldism can seem so appealing now...

The comments section seems to have turned now. But yes, third worldism has in the past occasionally tempted me not because of the defense of billionaires, but seeing how horribly some first worlders see immigrants.

Well i remember when CEOs were getting the big bonuses and there was a radio station having people call in and voice their opinions, every one of them thought the CEOs should return the bonuses, yet when asked if they would return the bonuses if they were the CEOs every one of them responded "no".

I work in front line social services and the jobs being advertised pay less and have worse conditions than they did five years ago.

Well, why would you give away your privilege?

No kidding.
If you want to see how I became a communist, go to a random article on the Wall Street Journal and look at the comments section.
It's hard to imagine that people just blindly buy into this bullshit of "individual responsibility" when everything the rich say is designed to advance their own interests. It just seems really obvious that the ideals propagated by the rich are a sham. I think these people will start to think differently when they can't afford to fill up their gas tank, pay off their mortgages, or put food on the table.
On the subject of Third Worldism, it's easy to see how people can get disillusioned after seeing even so many workers enthusiastically embrace bourgeois ideology. After giving it some consideration, Third Worldism really does seem to be just another form of fascism. Ironically, they have a much more vigorous criticism and analysis of Mao and Stalin.

Well then why should we call for and expect them to give up theirs? If we oppose inequality simply because were on the recieving end of it then were no different than the bourgeoisie.
