Struggle intensifying in Italy...

There's been a conflict going on in Italy for a while now, over a proposed high-speed rail project (TAV). I'm not entirely familiar with the no-TAV controversy, but it seems that the struggle over it has been intensifying over the past few days. I hadn't seen it reported on the national news here until recently. There's been some pretty militant actions, rallies and solidarity demos around Europe recently.
