Strange? Not in Germany.
Antideutsche group is an extreme faction of the Antinationale (Anti-Nationalist) movement. The root of this group is a radical opposition against a nationalism. Some German Communists (especially minority of the Kommunistischer Bund, so-called "Bahamas" group) started in 1990 with opposition against the re-unification of the Germany as an immanently nationalist state. Their slogan was "Nie wieder Deutschland" (Germany - Never Again).
The second implication of their anti-nationalism is combating the German anti-Semitism, what lead them to support the state of Israel and his policy. Because Israel is in conflict with his Arab neighbours Antideutsche have found their arch-enemy in so-called "Islamic fascism". They classify Islam as a backward culture (instead of religion) and see the state of Israel as an achievement of Western civilisation.
Next step was support for the American foreign policy such as the 2003 invasion of Iraq. In their opinion a "capitalist democracy" is more progressive than Third-World status quo and the US imperialism is tool of welcomed globalization. Generally, in the war between a MacWorld and a Jihad the Antideutsche/amtinationale unconditionally support the MacWorld.
Finally, Antideutsche start with a critique of anti-capitalism, which are thought to be "structurally anti-Semitic" (sic).
Question for American comrades: is there any similar group in the USA? I heard about Christopher Hitchens and Euston Manifesto Group or David Horowitz's and his FrontPage Magazine. Are they something like the Antideutsche?

If there is an American equivalent I doubt it will have much support here.

Antideutsche seems to have devolved in a manner similar to David Horowitz and the late Christopher Hitchens, although Hitchens retained at least a shred of his integrity before he died. I knew a Marxist-Leninst economist back in the 70s who has devolved into an advocate for neo-liberalism. Amazingly, this assclown is now well to the right of Bob Reich. The morale of the story is that even Marxian petit-bourgeois intellectuals are capable of joining the other side, only a solid connection to the working class really counts.

Pretty much everyone here doesn't like Antideutsche, some members are ambivalent, but I try not to pay them more attention than they deserve which is quite little.

Its definitly a lot less populair than only a few years ago, i was today at a huge antifa action in germany and i saw maybe two israel flags and zero US or british ones. Heard some anti deutsche slogans though.
The article above is severly lacking though and comparing the anti deutche to neo-cons is quite ignorant, read this thread for starters: http://www.revleft.com/vb/anti-germansi-t143568/index.html?t=143568

Some of my favorite Anti-D slogans:

"Bomber-Harris Flächenbrand - Deutschland wieder Ackerland!"
"Israel, USA! Das ist die wahre antifa!"
"Wir woll’n tanzen und nicht pogen – Israel und Partydrogen"
"Was wir wollen ist nicht viel – Saufen, ficken, Israel"
"Deutschland von der Karte streichen – Polen muss bis Frankreich reichen"

:laugh::rolleyes:

I don't equate Antideutsche with neo-cons. Of course Antideutsche are Communists and neo-cons aren't Communists; Antideutsche aren't patriots and neo-cons are patriots. But they fight on the same side and use similar (progressivist) arguments.
For me Antideutsche phenomenon is interesting as an extreme faction (vanguard) of the anti-nationalist movement. Anti-nationalism (i.e. opposition against a nation state) is old and legitimate* part of the Left but sometimes it leads towards deviated anti-anti-imperialism (i.e. opposition against national liberation movement). It was case of social-chauvinists before 1918 and - probably - Schachtmanite (correct me, if I made mistake). Today this is a broad complex of groups and individuals - it's also (though in more moderate form) the British Alliance for Workers Liberty and Polish Nurt Lewicy Rewolucyjnej (both neo-Schachtmanite), social-ecologist New Compass group from Norway etc.
