Is the spread of radiation across the globe an obvious conclusion already? It was already obvious during those open-season nuclear tests.

Thought that seemed fishy, as infant mortality rates have not gone up here to my knowledge, only a couple hundred kilometers from Fukushima. Although children in the immediate area are showing thyroid irregularities, which make them an increased cancer risk down the road, and the government raised the acceptable radiation limits for kids.And since the government covered up and then downplayed the meltdown, and their containment measures were inadequate, I expect to see more problems down the road, perhaps in me and my family as well. But 14,OOO immediate deaths in the US? Hmm...
