Okay, most people say that revolution is unlikely in the near future.
Anybody have a "Plan B"?
Or has irreversible doom of the whole of humanity and almost all life on the planet been de facto accepted by the Left? I mean, aren't most Leftists saying that worldwide workers' revolution is unlike to happen in time to prevent the major species-existence-threatening crises from developing to full fruition and imposing its consequences?
What can be done to prevent that, in time, if the working people of the world don't consciously self-emancipate ourselves through a revolution?
What happens if the masses continue to "get it wrong"?
When do we stop "playing politics" and stop screwing around about the bleak chances of continuing human survival in the future as a result of this system?
Hey, if the masses continue to buy the ruling class lies or hopelessly tremble before their ruling power, what should WE do about it?

Plan B might be a 'steady state economy'. But that would be incompatible with capitalism as we know it.
Plan C would involve a technological breakthrough in energy production.
Plan D: read the Bible

Hmm...I say that instead of cutting tree to make paper, i say we grow hemp. Hemp makes good paper.

Well isent this fantastic, I don't want to say I agree with superstitious nut-jobs but so far the world looks like sh*t in 2012.

It's quite possible that the ecological apocalypse won't be some violently catastrophic event but a painfully slow transition - as if we're scientists observing some experiment that we have no control over. We're certainly intelligent enough to observe and understand but we lack the position to stop or even increase the damage.

In parts of the ocean acidified by underwater volcanoes venting carbon dioxide, scientists have seen alarming signs of what the oceans could be like by 2100.
Point is, I think there is still plenty of time for something to happen in between the events now and 2100.

Okay, most people say that revolution is unlikely in the near future.
You should stop asking "most people".
