I recently found this website and it stands out for having a huge collection of music that one can purchase for extremely low prices (€0.27 per track, full albums no higher that €2,70).

I was wondering how they could keep prices that low? Sure, it's only a digital copy, but the rest of the industry is entangled in many legal and other constraints, upping the price of a typical song.

So, does anyone know more about them? Because at these prices I don't mind actually buying music I like

Think it might be a scam?

Think it might be a scam?

That is what I think. For a legal site, it's almost too good. So I thought I'd open this topic to see if others knew more about it.

It's apparently legit as far as you can actually expect an MP3 in return for the money. The prices are making me think that the labels aren't getting a cut, though -- so one might as well pirate.

I noticed they have a Linux client these days. Good.

Yes, definitely go with Spotify then. Completely free (for the time being, anyway, unless you're in Europe) and the audio quality is passable at 192 kbps

I imagine they just sell pirated mp3's.
