I wouldn't bet either, but am curious as to what form of gambling you prefer.

If you wanna lose your money slowly but have a shitload of fun, play the ponies. Also wear comfortable shoes.

If you make a profit, which you probably won't, STOP PLAYING and keep your money.

these websites are great tho - so many options

i bet on football and horses today (the race got cancelled tho) - only small money but if my football bet comes through i could pocket £200 from £2 - some accumulator shit my mate recommended

but yeah options - i could bet on darts or snooker or formula 1 might just stick with football

You'll probably become steadily more attached to it without realizing it.

Blackjack

Single $5 bet turned into $75 last time I was at a casino.

It's not difficult when you learn when to hit and when not to ... when to expect the dealer to bust ... remembering what cards are played (an idea will suffice if you don't want to try and actually count) ... etc

If you are gonna do it regardless of the "don't do it"s you're getting, save the majority of what you win. If you can win £200 from £2, that shows you don't need to go gambling with the whole £200 next time. Save like 5% from your weekly winnings (depending on how much you have) to use next week or something like that.

Nothing wrong with the occasional bet, not everyone ends up completely broke and ruined by putting a couple of quid on the football every weekend, it just adds a bit of excitement to something or makes you more interested in it

If ur going to bet on F1 don't bother betting against red bull for the constructors championship, and my instinct is with vettel for the drivers again. If you want a more risky bet williams is looking strong this season, they won't win but they might pick up some decent points. If you're betting race by race then check the friday practice and the qualifying first.
And never ever bet more money than you can afford, because at some point you will lose. If you've only lost a bit of spare cash you're fine, but if you've bet serious money you are in trouble. So keep the bets small, set an absolute limit for yourself and don't exceed it.
At least thats my advice :)

I have such a horrible problem with gambling that I can't even go to an arcade without giving my wallet to a friend and making it explicitly clear to them that no matter how much I demand or threaten them that they are not to give me more than $20.

People are always trying to get me to go to the casino, but I know I can't do it. Earlier this week one of my boys bought some scratch offs and I was dying to buy some for hours.

I buy a one dollar scratch ticket every week for fun.

I guess you could call me a pretty huge badass.
