Wikileaks reveal 'Stratfor' document for former Yugoslavia, where it's admitted that CIA was involved in suppression of labor movements in Serbia and ex-Yugoslavia, and confirms the story we've been telling for years - that CIA was very much involved in creating the conditions for Yugoslavian conflict.

Most interesting comrade, however,we as marxists should notice that the main reason for the break-up in Yugoslavia and the war that happened, roots back to Tito's times - and the un-socialist counstruction of the country, the nationalism and the 'workers-self managament' ,closely followed by the economy, which was unsustainable.
However, this just corroborated the idea that the West had a huge effect on the conflict.

The main reason behind the war was not the failed project of workers self-management, but Great-Serb nationalism, powered by the Church and the degenerated forms of government led by the nationalist intellectuals. Of course scumbags like Tudjman and Izetbegovic are worthy of a mention, but imperialist ambitions of Serbian government were crucial for the breakout of violence.
The West didn't help either, because it suited them not to help. Of course.
