I used to use library.nu, but they shut down. I'd love to be able to find another dedicated site -- i.e., not just a site with a "books" section, like TPB or Demonoid -- for free PDFs/eBooks.

Extra points if it's not just for books -- like, PDF guides and stuff.

These are mixed, a lot of good stuff but you'll have to hunt around.Ebooks30 has some good history stuff.

A lot of good stuff. Unfortunately w/megauploads down there may less to choose from. This is a "library" for lending purposes only, you understand, so it should be legal.

I only just now learned about the situation regarding the shutdown of library.nu. I didn't know it was high-profile enough to warrant articles about it either, until now.

All this fuss over ebook copyrights makes you wonder how the first public libraries for paper books ever got started back in the day.
