The mega-leaks website, WikiLeaks, has partnered with the hackers cooperative Anonymous, to publish internal emails of the American strategic intelligence company Stratfor. In one of the hacked emails, Stratfor officials discuss information obtained from one of their sources who reports that Israeli commandos, in cooperation with Kurdish fighters, have destroyed Iranian nuclear installations.
In one of the emails from November 2011, Stratfor officials discuss the explosion at an Iranian missile base near Tehran and quote a source who "was asked what he thought of reports that the Israelis were preparing a military offensive against Iran. Response: I think this is a diversion. The Israelis already destroyed all the Iranian nuclear infrastructure on the ground weeks ago."
Some of the Stratfor analysts expressed the opinion that Israel had sent commandos into Iran, perhaps with the assistance of Kurdish fighters or Iranian Jews who had immigrated to Israel, to carry out these operations.

This seems really sketchy, I don't think Iran would keep quiet about an Israeli attack. It would explain the explosion on the Iranian facility a few months ago though. Assange is apparently having a press conference today about the leaked Startfor emails so we should know more soon. Do you think this is legitimate?

Just because the people doing the imperialism have been oppressed throughout history does not change the fact that they are still imperialist. I am not surprised that Israel is doing this.

And Iran has not been quiet about "Israeli attacks." They have attacked back by attempting to kill Israeli diplomats in India and the Republic of Georgia (we are pretty sure it was them). They both need to stop this bullshit, and United States needs to stop blindly supporting everything Israel does.

I mean if Israel really did attack their facilities Iran wouldn't keep it a secret they would talk about it constantly to try to get sympathy from what few friends they have...the Tunisians and the Iraqis flipped a shit when Israel bombed them, although the Syrian tried to cover it up so it is possible I guess

It's unlikely that Israel destroyed Iran's nuclear activity, however there was a suspicious blast recently on a Republican Guard base. Perhaps Israel did not destroy Iran's program, the Stratfor analysts could have been exaggerating, but it would explain the aforementioned myserious explosion.

It would explain that explosion, however it hardly sounds like something which would have negated all of Iran's nuclear capabilities as much as set back one small aspect of their defense capacity.

why trust wikileaks/anonymous.whoever actually operates them.the haaretz article gives the impression the americans are against any attack by isreal on iran

If Wikileaks was "owned" by anyone other than someone who legitimately wants transparency in government like Assange, Bradley Manning would not have been tortured the way he is now

India is one of the few friends Iran has that continues to buy oil from them so having such a terrorist attack in India is so absurd that i simply can not believe Iran to be responsible for this.

If done by the Israeli's to drive a wedge between Iran and India then you can see how that would be logical especially since there where no fatalities. (outside of the terrorists)

Its very possible that the US doesn't want an attack on Iran at this point. In the coming days we will know for sure if it is true or not. It strikes me as far fetched by not impossible.

Commando sabotage is way easier than bombardments let alone full scale war...

And yes, I think Obama really doesn't want action against Iran, I would even go as far to say that the only reason they would welcome unilateral Israeli action would be to lift the hostage situation Israel has on US politics... to pull their hands of them for a bit...
