Ok...I've been lurking in the shadows and reading your posts. Many of you have expressed a desire for me not to leave (if but to poke fun of me ;) ). Ok then...I shall return.."new and improved".

When I started here three short days ago, I forced myelf onto the scene. Thats wrong, and yes I apologize. I've been in enough organizations to know that you don'f force yourself upon anyone...rather allow yourself to be absorbed. Ok then...here it is.

A kinder and gentler me. Mind you, don't confuse kindness with weakness. Now, if I still get attacked, insulted, etc, then I know it WASN'T me afterall, but the childishness of those that cannot accept that there are "Opposing Idealogies" in this world, and would do and say anything to stifle it.

Ok then since many of you have the impression that I'm some retarded bespectacled professor type..I'll let you know a little about me! Maybe you'll see I'm NOT all that different! Or maybe it'll prove that I AM a retard...heh heh.

My name is Anthony. At 33 i'm an old fart on here! I'm an ex-marine, and a current firefighter/paramedic. As a marine, I've seen the ugly side of war. As a firefighter/paramedic, I've seen the ugly side of street crime, drugs, poverty and domestic violence. On September 11th, having lost 300+ brother firefighters at the WTC, I felt the ugly side of fanaticism and radicalism. On september 19, 2003 I was arrested for smashing a guy's driver's side window with my fist, pulling him out of the car, and beating him silly after he ran me over with his car and tried to run..so I've also seen the UGLY side of jail, AND the U.S. legal process. (I use my words to defend myself, but sometimes my fists are needed to drive the point home).

I'm in a local band called SYCO (my nickname), and is influenced by Pantera, Rage, Dope, and all those other guys that feel about the world like I do.

I've recently moved onto a freaking boat! I have a really fast bike and when I'm not racing it around town, i'm running from the cops. I don't eat red meat and don't do drugs.

I'm open minded, willing to learn and willing to teach! and remember, I never said I was ANTI-communism, just Anti-castro! I changed my signature, but have decided to keep my name.

Ok then...there ya go! Time for you all to either insult me, or welcome me (if but begrudgingly)!

Just know that I DO have a lot of experience in this little roller coaster called life. I don't make up crap, because I don't feel the need to. ;)

I better sit for this one!

WOW! What a small world! I have worked for the guys in Pantera, as well as their off shoot bands.
Ever heard of Down, Superjoint Ritual, Crowbar, or Goatwhore? Non related Pantera, Corrosion of conformity?

They play in my back yard all the time! I think you are probably the first person I met on this board who knows of those guys. Wow.

Brother....its all good when I'm drinking (Note:drinking is bad :D )! I happen to like the Punk sound! I tend to embrace many styles in music. Hell, most of my peers HATE hip-hop. I happen to like it. I think folks like TuPac were very talented lyricists ( I can get volumes of good quotes just from his music alone!). Flamenco, Jazz, Salsa, you name it, I like it all! But that stuff would get me banned from MY metal circles. ;) I just happen to have a high level of testosterone and aggression and have found that music and working out are my way out some times.

Thanks

Yeah yeah yeah...thats EX-marine to you! and a low-payed one at that (nothing corporate about it ;) ).

My point was that I've seen the ugly sides of A LOT of things in life. Shoot, everytime I look in the mirror there's an ugly side!

Really 10 % is actually alot lower. The going rate is 20%.

Tell me cephas, how many years in the music biz do you have under your belt?? And just what is it you do in the music biz?

And do you know how many expenses is encompassed in that 10%? Its not cheap to get a record company to take notice. But then I'm sure you know all the ins and outs.

cephas, was that a challenge of MY ethics?

debora gets 10%
you want her to only have 5% by giving half away, dude you may wish to live in poverty but others dont.

Besides Debora Aro does alot og good work helping AIDS patients. Not that you have taken the time to find out before your rash posts.

BTW Cephas, you donate/help charities/good causes?

Anthony,

Welcome to the board. I've been on this board for quite a while, and after reading your first few threads, I felt that I had better things to do than debate with some arrogant arsehole.

However, this thread, if actually posted with good intentions, shows a maturity that I do admire, as you realized that your approach was misguided.

So welcome again, and we may have some healthy debate.

Okay Tony, welcome back. However, I'm going to close this thread because there's no point in having three or four topics open all talking about you in a very general sense.

Hopefully we'll all be able to manage some decorum.
