The Clash

The (International) Noise Conspiracy

System of a Down

The Coup

Street Sweeper Social Club

Rage Against the Machine

Dead Prez

La Coka Nostra

Propagandhi

Sweatshop Union

That's all I can think of from the top of my head. Some are more revolutionary than others. SOAD, for instance, seems more populist than socialist.

I think Arch Enemy is leftist, or at least the singer Angela Gossow is. She's an anarchist.

They're melodeath metal

I probably should have specified "old Bad Religion" but I don't like sounding like a hipster

yeah, I guess. but that's all off of how could hell get any worse though. go beyond that and there won't be any good political content aside from criticisms of bush and the church.

I can't believe nobody before me mentioned ATARI TEENAGE RIOT .
They are digital hardcore/noise/industrial, although their most recent album is more on the electro and house side.
I highly reccomend them !

Wolves In The Throne Room!
They live on a commune... their lyrics aren't really about politics, they're generally about nature and whatnot. One of my favorite Black Metal acts
