Hello, I am new to this forum but am conducting research and was wondering if anyone would voice their own opinion on the matter. I am doing my dissertation on Guevara, largely looking into his well known Motorcycle Diaries with Alberto Granado? Over the last few weeks I have been in depth comparing the diaries of both Ernesto and Alberto Granado and its highly interesting to see their respective take on their travels, most notably Alberto's being far more politicised than Che's. What I am thus forming an argument towards is that this trip wasn't the decisive influence on his life that so many make it out to be, that he had many liberal ideas in place before he went and his later experiences in Guatemala were all the more influential - instead it was part of a process. If you have any knowledge on the subject then I would be really interested in hearing from you? And in general what you feel about the books and the Walter Salles film of the same name

Anyway thanks for your time.
