Dear facebook,

Today I ws really in the mood. You know. Put some Mozart on. Pouring a nice Sauvignon. And reading some good articles about white wine. Thinking perhaps I would read something about a nice rich Domaine de la Romanée Conti Montrachet 2008 (selling at $2225 a bottle) or maybe the Montrachet '78 (selling at 28000 bottle). I would have loved to read something about the taste of the Chateau Mouton-Rothschild 1945 (selling at about 23000 a bottle)....but noooooo...some kids misspelled and now all I have to read is some white people whining. FML

Not with todays gass prices you won't...€1,80 a liter...highest gas prices ever in Dutch history.

(o yes...I forgot...for the Americans...a liter is about 0.29 gallons....
so that would be € 6,82 or $ 9,14 per gallon)

I read it every so often, but like all of these sites that require people sending in anecdotes/stories/examples from websites, I think at least some of them are fake for the purpose of being put on the site by whoever sent them in. That being said, it's obvious that the vast majority are sadly true.

Stick with the Rhone wine. Beaucastel and you'll be fine.
