Lil' Kim is actually better at looking at things than his father was. The studied poses are more professional, his pointing at the object of his attention is more emphatic. There's no room for ambiguity here, you know what he's looking at.The viewer is made to wonder the significance of the particular object in question. What's the importance of the bath Kim is looking at? What's the significance of the uniform he is pointing at? Is this something really important? It makes one think..

The casual poses, the joking with his generals, are both more polished and more relaxed than Jong-il doing the same thing. The pics almost make me feel I was there, cracking jokes with the DPRK General Staff over our money laundering, off shore bank accounts, or how much we're ripping off those South Korean and Russian companies in leasing out our slave labor.Good times had by all!
