I have a feeling this has probably been done already, but what the heck. It's interesting to see how other people express themselves. My band's music is fast and aggressive and/or depressing so there's not much artistic value to them. Any song topics from cereal to genital mutilation are welcome.

here's a lyric i wrote about this kid i hate. he thinks he's the biggest shit but everybody hates him. even some of the people he hangs with think hes a huge dick. i posted this in the creative writing thread too and i'd like some critique on it. also i apologize for use of sexist language. :(

im not talking about fuckin around and getting a lil bit a nookie.
cuz cody couldnt hit it if he was a prize fighter that was knuckin a rookie.
see codys the biggest ***** because his occupations talkin shit.
even though his face looks it's some giant fuckin zit.
hes the sort of kid that spends all fuckin day gettin lit.
and hes got some stupid ass pipe dream
that out of this crop he's the motherfuckin cream.
lets see him even attempt to come and cross with my team,
then theyll find his fuckin body floating down the wabash.

ive had a few ideas of what to write lately. ive wanted to write:
1)something about the frustration ive been feeling, mostly cuz i feel like ive got no good future in sight.
2)something completely random, like about cats or a dialogue type thing

I'll have a go, then. Not finished properly, but this is from a song i'm hoping to record as part of an EP when I have the time. I mostly play solo acoustic (sometimes with a drummer), influences being the likes of Rainer Maria, Football etc, Midwest Pen Pals, Cedar of Lebanon and so on.

Scenery unblemished with the proud protruding peaks and that's the plus side to it all.
But is it surgeon's marble or sharp granite down below?

I guess, we'll never know. Unless we scale the heights above I guess we'll never know.

I love Midwest pen Pals, I only found out about them a while ago though. The new demos they did were grea and I just wish they hadn't split up.
