Hi fellow revolutionaries :) I'm a male in my late 20's from MA, USA. I usually lurk on most forums. Decided I'd join up with RevLeft, because I feel like I need to reach out to people I can identify with. I'm currently funemployed, trying to get a job in Capitalist America (but would rather start a commune in the woods instead)

I'm hanging in there, but my anger and frustration with the status quo doesn't make it any easier. Hopefully I can chill here with like minded people so I can hold on to what's left of my sanity.

I'm sci-fi and fantasy enthusiast and PC gamer mostly. I also like Asian culture/philosophy (which goes toward explaining my user name ) I used to have other interests until trying to get back into the workforce put most of them on the back burner.

I'm also interested in politics, philosophy and history. I believe in liberal beliefs, democratic socialism and progressive ideals. I despise the right wing, predatory capitalism and conservatism. I'm sick of living in a country that worships profit above all else and hope I live to see the day that capitalism is relegated to the dustbin of history.

My socialist heroes are Karl Marx, Che Guevara, Eugene V. Debs and George Orwell.

I guess that's all I have for now. Glad to have found RevLeft.

Welcome. Hope you find it productive.

Also note that no one country is more profit driven than the next, but that the nation-state political structure that perpetuates the social construct of nationality is itself perpetuated by the global market.

Not even gonna start right now. Won't. Welcome comrade. And please make sure that I get your bi-weekly dues on time. I don't want to go looking for you. Almost forgot. Tell Bernie Sanders I said hello.

I'll assume jbeard's comments were made in good natured jest. I would gladly pay union dues if it kept the corporate overlords in check.
