So i thought this event in the history of the labour movement needed its own topic. For thoose who have seen the genius movie Matewan you know the basics of the early days of the conflict. Howard Zinn has menthioned this conflict to be the greatest one between labour and capital in the US and some says its the greatest internal conflict in the US after the civil war.
