Greetings Comrades!
I am an antirevisionist Marxist-Leninist with some Hoxhaist beliefs. I live in South Jersey, near Philadelphia. I became a Marxist-Leninist a little bit over a year ago, but throughout my whole life, I have had kind of a leftist evolution. I started off as a rebellious liberal and agnostic when I was around ten, then I became a rebellious liberal atheist, then a socialist, then I flirted for about a month with Luxemburgism then Trotskyism, then I finally became a Hoxha and Stalin loving Marxist-Leninist. It was a weird transition going from the utopian loving Marxist sects to Marxism-Leninism. That transition took about half a year. I am open to any friendships on Revleft and I would really like to get involved in any suggested Marxist-Leninist parties around me. Any advice on anything?
Thanks,
Comrade Commistar

Welcome from a Gramscian Luxemburgist, and I am sorry to tell you that Marxist-Leninist grouplets can be just as sectarian as the Trotskyists. My advice would be to continue to read theoretical works from authors such as Rosa Luxemberg and Antonio Gramsci and to read widely and broadly about revolution and class struggle. Studying the Spanish Civil War can be very interesting and I have yet to read a convincing argument asa to how it benefitted the Catalonian revolutionary movement to crush the POUM and murder its leadership, including Andres Nin.

Do you know Pauly D?
Just kidding, I'm from New Jersey also and I absolutely hate when people think Jersey Shore is an actual representation of the entire state.

Welcome comrade, as far as Hoxha parties go you might try the APL. Try and hook up with the PSL. I know they have weekly educational classes. PM me if you need any more info.

lol. yea, I actually use Jersey Shore to show my friends how stupid capitalist culture is. :) At least people are starting to forget about that shitty show over here in NJ. Its really not that popular in NJ anymore (at least where I live), even when the season's on.

I find it incredibly depressing that it had high enough ratings to make it past a pilot ...

Welcome to RevLeft comrade!
This is a great place to discuss, learn and ask questions to a lot of wise people!
Im from Norway and I am a communist, which my name also says.
Im definitely a communist, but not sure if am a Stalinist, hoxhaist, Leninist, Marxist, Trotskyist, Titoist or anything yet. That's why I joined RevLeft, to find out more about different versions inside the great idiology communism!

Interesting that there were all of these Jersey Shore references, but no references to The Sopranos.

Well no one knows that the Sopranos takes place in New Jersey if they don't actually watch the show. "Jersey Shore" has 'Jersey' in the name, so every idiot recognizes that and uses it as an insult.

All is light thanks Le Rouge. I wont labour the point as I am sure your good mother has warned yo about girls like that.:blushing: An insane world we share. The lasses and yes the gay boys too wont step out the door on a sunny day without an umbrella. Completely the opposite of UK, the cautious amongst us look for rain clouds approaching. However it seems a white complexion is much valued here in Mindanao. When it slipped out in conversation that my youngest brother had bought a sunbed, I thought the gasps were about the price. Heck no, it was incomprehensible as it was for me ,but for different reasons. Anyhow snookie , yes, not for me to pontificate, beauty being in the eyes of the beholder. At my age they all look bloody lovely, wherever and whenever.
