I recently began reading Heilbroner's The Worldly Philosophers: The Lives, Times, and Ideas of the Great Economic Thinkers. In the book, Heilbroner writes about the economic philosophies of the major economists of the past three centuries.I seem to like it but I have only read the first two chapters as of yet. What is your experience with Heilbroner? Is he someone who is going to provide a good analysis of economic philosophy or is he someone who is going to talk about how I should stay away from Marx and keep to Keynes?
