Canadian plan against Iranian war

Hey, I've been working with some activists out in Eastern Ontario to develop a direct action plan to be put into action in case of Canadian participation in a war on Iran.

It started when Occupy Kingston was still around and we came to the conclusion that Canada's international operations are based predominantly out of CFB Trenton in Trenton, Ontario.

The general idea now is an occupation of the civilian access points to CFB Trenton, maybe a march to disrupt Highway 2 (the main conduit running through the base which is vary narrow and busy).

Nice going, more plans like this need to be made. While it isn't likely to change a whole lot in the long run it is far better than reacting to what the imperialist state does.

I figured blocking civilian access to CFB Trenton or even slowing it would, in fact, seriously screw with the Imperialist agenda. I've lived in Trenton / Belleville for loooooooong time, and you don't realize just how important this one base is to all international missions. Even slowing civilian access (there's only one major civilian access point, besides the pedestrian overpass from military housing) would really fuck their day and potentially hinder our ability to attack Iran.

It's not going to stop the war, no, but it's going to demonstrate opposition and have a (minimal) real impact.

No! It will have a real impact. This is exactly the kind of action we need to see to stop the imperial death machine.

Make it as big as possible, as disruptive as possible, and as non-violent as possible. If you can challenge soldiers on a private level go for it. If you can disrupt shipment of goods go for it. If you can disrupt the movement of troops go for it.

We have complete butcher murderers in charge of Canada, the US, the UK and Israel & they need to be shown a broad effective protest against their schemes.

Socialists need to challenge militarism in practice. Neither the people of Iran or the people of Canada benefit from this insanity. Only the the rulers and dominant classes will.
