The largest donor to a SuperPAC supporting Ron Paul is Peter Thiel, the sort of ultra-wealthy, super-national figure Paul and his supporters love to hate.Thiel -- who gave $900,000 (http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2012/01/31/us/politics/super-pac-donors.html?hp) to the pro-Paul group Endorse Liberty -- made his fortune as the co-founder of PayPal; he was also an early investor in Facebook, and is now a major player in the world of high-tech venture capital. He's also a devoted libertarian and devoted Republican: He hosted a fundraiser (http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0910/42711.html) for the confrontational gay conservative group GOProud at his grand apartment off Union Square in 2010.
Thiel is also a member of the steering committee (http://www.bilderbergmeetings.org/governance.html) of the Bilderberg Group, the elite, invitation-only conference that's the frequent subject of conspiracy theories.
"They probably get together and talk about how they're going to control the banking systems of the world and natural resources," Paul said in 2008.
Thiel shares, though, Paul's anti-government, and anti-Establishment, impulses. He has funded a prize to encourage talented students to drop out of college, and is a major supporter of the cause of "Seasteading," creating independent, water-borne cities free of national law.
Oh look, one the very people that most Paulites hate with a passion is Paul's biggest supporter. So much for him being different and bringing any kind of actual change. I fucking hate Paulites more than I hate fascists, and that is saying something, because I fucking hate fascists, but at least fascists know what they stand for.
BTW, notice the comments on the link jumping to defense of Dear Leader Paul.

Are you actually saying Ron Paul isn't the vehicle for radical change we've all waited for? I must alert the media!

I'm just sharing news. Maybe somebody needs a good source to shut a Paulite up. Although that is very difficult to do since they discard all logic and reason usually as a secret government MSM conspiracy against dear leader Paul, because "he is SO anti-establishment".

I'm just saying that at least Fash knows something about what they want.
Paulites just ignore everything bad as being non-existant. Fash look at the bad things as being good.

Paul supporters are a odd breed to me. They defend his every move with such intensity. They subscribe to all the rhetoric and barely know what it is he stands for. That is in large part due to the fact you have to read between the lines so much. Like how most think he wants to outright abolish the fed reserve. A move like that in a pre revolution society is likely to get a politician hung or assassinated. That would be suicide for a elected official but it is not like he has a chance to win so he can go on selling dreams like that without any fear of consequences.
He is the prototypical career politician, masquerading as a outsider, who took up the good fight. In reality he only gets attention due to the Dems wanting to split the conservative vote to get Obama re-elected. They even went so far as to endorse him. He is a charlatan and would do more for the rich than Bush ever imagined. I blame the capitalist media for dumbing down society to the point that a man who has been in politics since the 70's is now considered 'grass roots' and outside the general arena of mainstream American politics by his adherents. He is nothing more than a career politician with a fancy populist line.

I get pissed off just thinking about the Bilderberg group. Cowardly fucking capitalists meeting in secret so they can totally avoid the people, and of course the media totally blocks it out and pretends like it doesn't even exist.
We all know what happens whenever these fucking assholes have a public meeting, so they cower behind closed doors every year to discuss "bob" knows fucking what.

Personally I am glad those nutbags meet in secret. I only wish that they would take Paul, Santorum and all the rest of the current crop with them. In sight or not we all will feel their touch.

Peter Thiel is one of the more dangerous breed of free-market libertarians. He is opposed to any form of representative or direct democracy and it would not be off the mark to label him as a supporter of some form of industrial feudalism. He is a fan of Hans-Hermann Hoppe (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hans-Hermann_Hoppe)
Here are some the things Thiel has said:
"I no longer believe that freedom and democracy are compatible."
"Since 1920, the vast increase in welfare beneficiaries and the extension of the franchise to women—two constituencies that are notoriously tough for libertarians—have rendered the notion of 'capitalist democracy' into an oxymoron."
There are many more quotes like this that he has made.
He was also the one who funded the 'journalist' James O'Keefe (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_O'Keefe)
A nasty little shit if there ever was one!

The libertarianism supporters are not evil, not even the US voters who vote for The Republican Party and The Democratic Party are evil, not even the loyal supporters of Obama (who has killed people with drones).
From a psychologic, psycho-analysis point of view. I think that the real cause of why many people vote for The Republican Party, for The Democratic Party, and for supporting Ron Paul is a problem of *perception*. It's a problem and real cause about doors of perceptions of most americans being very blurry, confused, obfsucated and destroyed by the main 7 capitalist TV news channels of USA (CNN news, FOX news, ABC news, CBS news, NBC news, Noticiero Telemundo, Noticias Univision), and the very little socialism propaganda that exists in America outside of the internet.
And even if most americans have internet at home, it is safe to assume that most americans use the internet not for politics and news, but as a form of entertaiment and for businesses, paying bills and for other motives.
So having said all this, I think that even today after many years of internet and many years of modern technology there is still too little socialism propaganda, socialism advertising in the USA society.
It is the task of the whole left of USA to increase the levels of socialism and marxism propaganda, advertising, knowledge and information to society of USA as the best solution for all the economic, and social problems of american families. Thanks

I allowed myself to be drawn into a conversion with a Paulbot several weeks ago and it was almost as painful as oral surgery. They are as devoted to their icon as are the follows of Iosif Viassarionovich, Chairman Meow, and dare I say, comrade Enver.

Dear friends, don't blame the people who support Ron Paul. Blame the left of USA. The left of USA has been too theoretical, and the progressive liberal left is no better. They are great at writting articles, videos etc. But the whole left of America (The marxist left and progressive liberals) have been very very weak at advertising socialism, marxism to the masses. Maybe it is because the left is too poor economically, and as you know advertising, spreading information to the masses about socialism thru TV, thru newspapers is very expensive.
And because there is almost no socialism propaganda in America outside of the internet. The desperate american poor families support Ron Paul as their only visible salvation. How can we want people to become socialists, to become marxists in USA if there isn't any marxism propaganda in any where in any city of America.

The notion that poor Americans support Ron Paul is rubbish. I live in the city of Baltimore and the only Ron Paul supporters about are white and petit-bourgeois, usually students.

Yeah but the other alternatives who have possibility to win the presidential elections of USA in November are not much better (Obama, Mitt Romney, Newt Gingritch and Rick Santorium). We are doomed in this hell where americans are forced to choose between 2 capitalist imperialist presidents.

They aren't evil, they are just assholes who are annonying as fuck to deal with on the internet. They use a shit ton of stolen rhetoric from leftists and at the same time like to say things like people should die if they don't have health insurance or maybe have the church take care of them. They are conceited as fuck, think that they are all John Galt, and don't give a fuck about the suffering of anyone else. Its worse when they come en masse a la Mises forums. Go on there and tell me you don't think that they are pieces of shit for the most part.

Nah I'll stick to blaming the Right. Blaming the Capitalists.
I won't give the Right Wing Nutjobs a pass because you feel the left is not being left enough.
That's a rhetoric I won't tolerate!

You know what is really funny? I was just watching FOX News and they showed a graph about the candidates with the most enthusiastic voters in Michigan. Romney came first (I do not know how in hell he did so), Ron Paul came second (even though he was in 3rd place), and Santorum came third. When they showed that graph, the lady presenting it completely skipped over Ron Paul and said that Santorum had the second most enthusiastic voters.

LOL:laugh:
And people use stories like this to complain about Ron Paul being ignored by the media. Maybe he is ignored because both sides of the political spectrum think he is crazy.
