Stalin, the guy we all seem to love to hate.
First let me make it plain to you that without Stalin we would al be under the Swastika of the Nazi.
Before Stalins 5 year plans, the USSR was one of the most economically backward nations the world had ever seen.
Here are the results of the Glorious 5 year plans
Coal 182 % output increase
Oil 183 % output increase
Pig Iron 188 % output increase
Steel 148 % output increase
Electricity 265 % output increase
Now these are astonishing results and only in Stalins time could this be done under the magnificent leader
The USSR could now compete with capitalist nations of the world, and was able to do this under only 5 years.
If it was to be any of the capitalist nations i suspect it would of took about 20 years at least.
As well as increased outputs many huge achievements were completed such as the huge Stalingrad Tractor work, the Volga-White sea Canal and the magnitogorsk Metallurgical Industry.
In the Second 5 year plan
The same hugely succesful results were produced
Something many of us, including me did not know was that Stalin in fact started the 3rd 5 year plan in 1928 aimed at producing bikes radios and such consumer "luxuries"
This had to be halted due to the fascist dogs biting Uncle Joes Ankle.
Therfore the many new factories were now to prdoce armemants for the war effort which resulted in the conquering of the coward Hitler.
Comrades, next we talk about how BAD AND EVIL stalin was consider this, without him, you wouldnt be able to think left, or right and u'd go to school witha swastika on ur blazer.
