I just wondered what Ultra-nationalism was?
"Extreme nationalism that promotes the interest of one state or people above all others".
If that statement is correct then I'd say I'd want to be an Ultra-Nationalist for Russia even though I'm not Russian or any relation from that country I would rather live there and work there. I was actually thinking of joining the OMON (OMOH) over there which is there police force I believe. Russian's are just elite I have to admit. Shame they didn't win the Cold War that would be 'A Revolution'. :star:
I believe in 'Extremism'. The only way to get what you want is to fight for it. Without honour and sacrifice there will never be a Left-wing revolution.
Together we must stand as one and slaughter the enemy where they lay.
However, you must be patient. Until the day comes, until the right moment.
Kill off the enemy from the inside, when they are weak, you strike.
BANG! And you have your Revolution. :thumbup1:
Thanks.

I think you're confused.
From your intro thread:
Now moving away from that subject I'd like to know something. As I say I've been here, there and everywhere in terms of politics. As for the NS I can say rightfully that there approach is okay as they are more violent in getting their own way. Irrelevant to this matter however, I'd like to know. Do Communist's/Leftists actually use violence or is it made up of proper politicians and government?
Does 'NS' mean 'national socialism'?

I may be a little confused I agree.
And yeah 'NS' mean 'National Socialism'.
What I was wondering was simply if you use violence in your movement?
And that the 'NS' use violence to get their own way or at least try.

The clue's in the name isn't it, it's ultra nationalism, an extreme form of it, and pretty much what that quote of yours says, why would you want to promote the interests of Russia and Russians above all other nationalities?

Nationalism is a bourgeois social view which is incompatible with socialist viewpoints, as the destruction of the bourgeois mode of production will effectively be the destruction of all bourgeois social relations.
P. sure we got a tankie on our hands.

Tankie sense, tingling! Anyway, Nationalism is generally a pretty reactionary, dogmatic worldview. Of course I support some national movements (such as in Palestine), because one nation is being oppressed by another, and they need to be unified to combat said oppression. But it should be the view of a communist or anarchist to look at the world without separation on national terms (but not to ignore national struggles), and instead focus on the struggle between classes. Ultimately, national differences are generally quite superficial compared to the differences between the classes as dictated by capitalism, and those class differences will ultimately bring about the destruction of capitalism.

You're a communist because you thought that Russia was a pretty cool place?
Well its a start, and before y'all start calling him a fash know that he's probably just young and confused. Please don't ban the kid, even though he's wrong he can still have some potential, instead if you really feel passionately about it, just send him a PM. Remember, people change.

And what's a tankie?
Someone who calls themself a communst not because of any real belief or understanding in socialist ideas but because they like the Soviet aesthetic.

Before you banned them for being a blatant troll, you should have asked them what makes them think Russians are better than anyone else. I mean if it was one of the baltic states they were coming out of than fair enough. But i know for certain that No-one thinks like that in the west midlands (as far as I know there are not many big Russian communities anywhere near there). Heck, if it was true than it would be a fresh change from the usual edl extremists that seem to pounding around with pride right now.
