I've been in many protests, but never in a black block.

I'm split over it. Imo trying to use violence (as in bodily harm) will do nothing positive for the cause.
Destruction of property is something else though, and I'm split on the tactic.
Disruption or sabotage (like blocking people from entering a bank, or not allowing trucks in or something), is something I am TOTALLY for, I think that tactically you have to disrupt things to get things going.
