I will soon be old enough to vote, but I can't seem to find any party that is remotely close to my ideologies.
I hate moderates, or anything close to center. I'm not a marxist-leninist, and the green party is too disorganized.
What party, in your opinion, is the best choice and why?

None my friend. Don't vote. Voting is BS and totally ineffective. Especially when voting for a minor party like communists party.

Your best choice is more info in your head. More experience in the movement. There is never anything wrong admitting that you don't know enough about something. Understand though that any organization that you do join will have positions and people that you don't agree with. Just keep an open mind. It may help if you expanded on your ideas here. Maybe the Canadian comrades could help.

Why would you not vote for a Communist Party if given that option?
Small Communist parties put quite a bit of effort into getting ballot access (at least in the US).
If you don't see voting as valuable then see it as a protest vote

I'm a revolutionary socialist and USUALLY vote NDP. It's a tactical question. What election you facing?

I don't see deciding to not vote at all as being productive. I suppose a protest vote would suffice sometimes. thanks

Don't vote! All you'd be doing is legitimizing the farce of capitalist "democracy".

Depending on where you are of course but I would be partial to the Socialist Party of Ontario (http://tumblr.socialistpartyofontario.ca/).

I think the NDP is biggest bunch of feckless buffoons in Canadian politics. At least the other parties are somewhat true to their principals (wrongheaded as they are). Don't even get me started about Jack Layton.:cursing:

I never heard of them before so I did a little digging. They are a leftwing split from the NDP that was founded last year. Joe Higgins was apparently brought over from ireland to help in the launching event and the chairman and membership secretary are both former CWI members (from the early 2000s).
So, given all of this, I wonder: Do we have members in the SPO? Are they likely to become a CWI affiliate any time soon?

The Trots seem to have the most presence out here, followed by the CPC. The Marxist-Leninists are around, but I can't say I've seen any of them in person.

Tactical question? Come on! You're sounding like a liberal now (a la strategic voting..)

CWI here folks are in the SPO. It's very small and I think will remain so.

I came close to voting Liberal last provincial election. The NDPer was a no hoper. The most bourgeois party I've voted for was Green so...
I've abstained twice, spoilt my ballot once, voted Green two federal elections ago, and otherwise have voted NDP. I think how revolutionaries engage with electoral politics doesn't have a formula. I learnt some stuff working on a couple of NDP campaigns, mostly just pragmatic stuff like scrutineering and lawn sign distribution.
I "feel" opposed to the merger of the NDP & Liberals but didn't bother taking a membership to vote Nash in the leadership race.

But that is more than made up for by sound analysis!

The liberals are almost worse than the cons imo, but that might just be because I live in BC, which is where the liberals have been doing all their bad shit. also, how is the Green party bourgeoisie?

For a more structured point of view of the Canadian boycott of elections, I suggest you visit this site, it's from the last election on May 2011, but doesn't matter. http://boycottelections2011.blogspot.com/

Nothing but reformist. See for yourself.
Principles
The Green Party of Canada is founded on six key principles that were adopted at the 2002 convention of the Global Greens (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_Greens). These principles are:
ecological wisdom (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ecological_wisdom)
non-violence (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-violence)
social justice (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_justice)
sustainability (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sustainability)
