Does anyone know where I find some good anti-coke fliers other than the three at cokewatch.org? I want to put them on the vending machines at my school.

it's not cause ché drank coke i should do so, coke is a multinational company who exploits their workers, it may not help them but i feel i would be a hypocrit supporting multinationals when there are other possibility's

Coca cola also have union leaders in Columbia assisinated, sell toxic waste as fertiliser to poor farmers, contaminate water in India and destroy livlihoods in a variety of other ways. So what if Che drank coke, =he sure as hell wouldn't drink Coke if he was alive now.

i think its rather anal to get coke to pay for aids medicine. It wont unless it provides it profit.
therefore we should smash coke, not beg it to help us...

I agree Kamo, all this expecting multinationals to behave is pretty middle class and reactionary, they're not gonna, not properly, it's all just greenwash.

exactly.
WE should make posters which are completely class independent, and never side with the bourgeoise in our struggle against capitalism

Is anyone having trouble boycotting Coke just like I am,I mean I've been mostly drinking Coke everytime I go out and eat,and now when I order drinks it becomes a natural reaction for me to ask for Coke, everytime I'm going to ask for a different drink like Pepsi or Sprite it always comes out "Coke".So is anybody else having this problem?

i think you will find that sprite is owned by coke, unfortunately you cannot escape the corporate machine.

true fact, pepsi is in almost as much fault as the Coke Machine. they do they exact same thing, use all the water and sell it to 3rd world countries for cheaper than the price of water, and while doing so they put harmful pesiticides in it.

Drink 7up if you have to drink something fizzy, but quite frankly nothing's safe.

That's just because you're not used to doing it. If you weren't used to eating chips and cookies and candies and etc. you'd have no problem eating healthy. I try, but fail more often than i'd like to admit to avoid Coke and other unhealthy multinationals. It's a continual struggle with ourselves, i guess.

Good point socialist tiger. it is hard, but it doesn't mean it's not worth it. in this society people always take the easy way out, that's why so many people in america are so obese!!!

I found out about Coke exploiting Colombian workers a few months ago, and I've not drank (it with a few, guilty exceptions) since. My family buys coke and its products, and refuses to stop, but I am personally not supporting coca cola, or pepsi for that matter. Actually, it fits in very nicely with trying to eat more healthily. Just drink water and juice. I agree that is is hard and not satisfying at first to switch off of sodas, sugars, and excessive greasy fats, but it's much, much better for you. And an added bonus is by cutting out soda, fast food, and junk food, you're no longer supporting the mega-coporations like Coke and McDonalds. Eating fair-trade and locally grown or raised produce or animal products is not only much better for you, but also for the lives of the people who produce these products, as it supports small, family owned business and workers who are treated fairly.
