It stems from a time when I was an 11 year old tankie. It was essentially a character I made for a "radio" show called Colonel Kusak, about a psychopathic third-worldist. I'm not a tankie any more, but I had fun with the name back then and I feel attached to it. Anyways it's my internet-wide "alias" of sorts, i.e. I use it as a username for basically everything. One-upmanship and putdowns are ever-present in leftist internal relations, such that it reminds of the typical behavior of straight men socially competiting in a bar or nightclub for female attention (to get laid).
