Paging is when minors are selected to represent their state capitol. For one week (at least in my state) they are representative assistants. From my understanding, doing basic arons, sitting in on debates (from what I'm told) and other tasks and assignments. There is a strict work and casual dress code - slacks, suit, and tie for work - for casual, which is a little more relaxed, presentable jeans or shorts below the knees, and a shirt (a few regulations on the shirts as well).
Minors are also paid for their week of service.
If say a minor were to be chosen for this, something that on a resume can pave the path for a career in state politics (basically, it looks good on a resume), would that be bourgeois? I mean, it's working directly for the state, but at the same time your selling your labor.
